| His Grace Jay Damodar Prabhu is a preacher, teacher and is known for his lectures on Mahabharata. He did his bachelors in mechanical engineering from BVM Engineering College, Vallabha Vidyanagar Nagar, Gujarat. Thereafter he worked with several companies, one of them being Elecon. During the first year of his college, he had a good fortune of coming in association of devotees at ISKCON,Vallabha Vidyanagar . Since then he has been a practitioner of Krishna consciousness for 24 years. He has delivered extensive lectures and seminars on varied sastras, like Ramayana, Mahabharata, Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam, Brihad Bhagavatamrita, Upanisads, Vedanta Sutra, and Vaisnava epistemology and ontology (Nyaya methodology). He is currently serving as a gurukul teacher at Nandagram (a farm community in Gujarat). There he teaches American English, Mahabharata, and Bhakti Sastri. Being an authorized IDC facilitator, he also conducts Disciples' Course at Nandagram and other places. |
