His Grace Govinda Bhakta Das came in contact with ISKCON in 1995 during engineering college days. By profession he is Civil Engeneer. He received initiation from HH Radhanath Swami in March 1996. He moved in Iskcon Pune as full time preacher in 1996. Since then he served in many ISKCON temple as a full time devotee and part of PMC Project Management Counsel for the construction of more that 10 temples in last 2 decade. He has served indifferent levels in our organization as Preacher gave various discourses in schools colleges different educational and management institutes, as a Engineer helped to constructs Bhaktivendata Hospital, Pandharpur temple, Ujjain temple, Aravade temple, Noida temple New phase of Iskcon Juhu, Iskcon Kanpur, Iskcon Solapur,etc. Bhaktivedanta mission school at Juhu, Goshala and Farm Community at Vrindavan , Renovation of Vrindavan temple and construction of Kitchen and Govinda's restaurant at Vrindavan. He helped to organize first Rathayatra festival at Belgaum, Mangalore, Solapur , Nigadi, Satara, Sangli. Jhansi, Ujjain. Delivered Bhagavat Katha in different occasion at different places. As a Yoga and Nephropathy instructor helping devotee to maintain their good health for good Sadhana. In 2008 he was teacher for Bhaktivaibhava course conducted by MIHE, Presently he is conducting Bhaktishastri course in Phoenix, Arizona. For Last 2 decades he has delivered hundreds of lectures in Hindi, Marathi, English languages on Bhagavad Gita, Srimad Bhagavatam, Chaitanya Charitamrita and various Gaudiya literatures in India and abroad. He conducts virtual Vrajamandal parikrama for the people of far end who are not able to visit Vrajmandal due to various reasons.After working in MNC for 5 years he has joined back as a full time devotee in 2016 in Iskcon temple in USA and presently he is preaching in Salt Lake City. He is a Director of IVS( Institute Of Vedic Science and Studies) through which he preaches young generation studying in local colleges. He is Lecturing in Community colleges as guest lecturer for the students of Philosophy and religion. |
