HG Padmanetra Das Brahmachari is a senior disciple of H.H. Jayapataka Swami Maharaj. He joined ISKCON Mayapur in 1989 and started serving Namahatta department. He got first initiation on the very auspicious appearance day of lord Balarama in the same year and second initiation in 1991. Gradually he started taking more and more responsibilities spontaneously in the fields of preaching as well as management. Later on, by the order of his spiritual master and HH Gauranga Prem Swami Maharaj (chief regional-director ISKCON Namahatta) he stated to serve as a co-regional director of Namahatta. Since then he is overseeing the management as well as preaching of Namahatta in different parts of Odisa, Bengal and Assam, specially six districts in the southern part of West Bengal. He is also an expert preacher of Gaura leela in bengali and many have taken to Krishna Consciousness just by hearing his Krishna Conscious SEMINARS. He has been travelling extensively and preaching the message of Srila Prabhupada in many parts of Bangladesh too.
