His Grace Savyasachi Das is a disciple of H.H.Jayapataka Swami. He is also a Shiksha Disciple of H.H. Bhakti Vikas Swami. He completed his M.B.B.S. at Madurai, Tamilnadu in 1999 and then immediately joined ISKCON as a fulltime brahmachari. He came into contact of ISKCON in 1996. He was living in ISKCON Vallabha Vidyanagar, Gujarat from 1999 to 2006, when he was preaching to the youth in colleges there. Many young student from Gujarat joined ISKCON as a full time brahmacari under his guidance and are serving Srila Prabhupadas mission faithfully. He conducts scientific courses on the teachings of Bhagavad Gita for youth. Since 2006 he has been focusing on establishing the Varnasrama mission, the final aspect of Srila Prabhupada’s Hare Krishna movement. He has been instrumental in starting a few farm communities in India. Presently he is based at one such farm community, Nandagrama, in Gujarat. Besides this, he continues to travel and preach in India. He is also a candidate for sannyasa.
